Our member, ZAWAMED, is opening a new cell culture laboratory to conduct research on cytotoxicity, biological activity and safety of active substances, extracts and medical devices. The laboratory is equipped with a phase-contrast microscope with image registration and morphometric measurements, a multi-detector microplate reader (absorbance and fluorescence measurements) and a BD FACS Lyric 10-color flow cytometer. Experienced research staff can assist with assay design and appropriate sample selection if needed. Additional labs will be commissioned over time
