As part of the INGENIOUS consortium, we are proud to present the WASTE BATTERIES IES project – a groundbreaking initiative developed by a Polish consortium comprising the following companies: Global Quantum Sp. z o.o. SK, ASH Sp. z o.o. and Zakład Usług Komunalnych “Hak” Stanisław Burczyński Działalność Gospodarcza.
Thanks to the support of an innovation grant from the INGENIOUS project, the team has proven that it is possible to create scalable, cost-effective energy storage systems using regenerated lead-acid batteries – at a cost of only one-third of the price of new solutions! 🔥
Key achievements of the project:
🔹 Improvement of battery regeneration technology
🔹 Implementation of a voltage balancing system for maximum efficiency
🔹 Design of safe enclosures for high-voltage storage
🔹 Integration of an advanced battery management system (BMS)
This project is a great example of how SMEs supported by INGENIOUS are implementing sustainable, affordable energy solutions, strengthening the competitiveness of businesses and promoting a circular economy. 🌍
We are honored to share this success.
📢 And this is just the beginning! We will soon be presenting more exciting projects supported by the INGENIOUS consortium. Stay tuned! 🔜
